CHEF DINNER SERIES E. Smith Mercantile welcomes chefs from around the globe for a very special one night culinary experience. The Merc is cleared and we set a large family style table to make way for multiple courses of chef magic. 

Inspired by late-night bar food of Tokyo, Seattle natives Neil (Copal) & Zarah Duncanson (London Plane) prepare for us an evening of food treasures. With a delicate seafood and vegetable focus, paying homage to technique and a balance of umami flavors. 

Neil and Zarah met while cooking at the Fremont farmers market 7 years ago and fell in love. They've been tearing up the seattle dining scene at places such as Brimmer & Heeltap, Hotcakes and most recently Delancey & Essex. After moving to Vashon Island last year the two have started a full moon dinner series they put on every fall and continue to cook in pioneer square restaurants Copal and London Plane.

Pre-Order your tickets now, seats are limited. Table seats are for general admission to our family style table and include an amuse cocktail and our full course offering (gratuity and additional beverages are not included). We're excited to offer a special menu of Sake pairings curated by Pioneer Square institution, Sake Nomi, as well as an optional cocktail pairing menu as well as a la carte selections will be offered the night of the event.
