SPACE OPTIONS

The Heritage Room

Our unique event space with a view of Occidental Square, available for receptions for up to 30 seated guests or 45 standing with full catering and beverage services. Ask about our studio or meeting space rentals for rates without catering.  

Full Venue Buy Out

For a truly grand affair, our full E. Smith Mercantile bar in addition to The Heritage Room can be rented to accommodate groups up to 150 guests. 

Experience Events

Join us for one of our Mixology or Apothecary classes for a unique group experience! Each class includes an expert lecture and demonstration, recipes, and a cocktail and snack pairing. Tool kits and take home packages can be available at an additional per head cost. Considered for groups from 8 to 20 people.

VENUE INFO

Our expert bartenders are at your service. Choose from our seasonal list of cocktails or our mixologists can create a custom cocktail fit for your fête. Take advantage of our seasonal house infusions, bitters, and cocktail syrups.

From light appetizers to seated dinners, our catering team is at your service to help design a delicious and comforting menu. We source primarily organic ingredients and are proud to serve fresh & local.

Easy access to the waterfront, King St. Station, and the Light Rail for any traveling guests. Dynamic, historic and urban, with all the warmth of your home away from home.  

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All events are 21+ only.
  • 3 hour minimum rental for all events.
  • Any prices quoted are valid for 30 days and rates are subject to change at any time.
  • A 50% deposit is due at contract signing with the balance due the day of the event.
  • Any cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your event or the deposit is forfeited.
  • Additional hours used, but not included in your original quote will be added to your final bill.

In-house services include:

  • Catering
  • Bartending (ask about creating a specialty cocktail menu designed for your event)
  • Floral Design
  • Event planning & Coordination
  • Limited chairs and tables are available and included in your event rental. Any additional furniture, linens, lighting and AV equipment will be added to your quote.

Although we encourage use of our in-house catering services, we can make exceptions for outside food for an additional fee. However, no outside liquor is allowed. Bartenders, servers and day-of coordinators available at an hourly rate.
